My friend wants to move to Atlanta and start a new life.? |
He's had a lot of problems up here and needs to find a job and a place to stay as soon as possible. Where are some decent working class neighborhoods and how is the job market? Atlanta is not a cheap place to live but it can be affordable. Best sources for info on job market are www.ajc.com classified section.www.accessnorthga classified section (see column on left about 3/4 way down to find link for classifieds) There are affordable neighborhoods both in town and in the suburbs. Crosstown commutes are ugly so best to stay at a residence hotel or rent a room somewhere till he has a solid job and knows what area of town he'll need to live near. Many Atlanta companies hire through temporary employment services for entry level jobs. check craigslist.org |
