My resume is 669KB - I don't know how to make it smaller...?

I have a 3 page resume, all black ink, saved in my documents folder. when I right click on it to read the "properties" it says it's 669KB and is a "wordperfect 12 document." There are a few blank pages after my document ends but I don't know how to delete them... What is going on -- I'm trying to email listings to craigslist and they only accept docs of 150KB. What is wrong with my document and how can I fix this problem?

you can try tocompress the file and then zip the file with winzip and that should bring it down to the level you need it to.

Way to remove the last 2 pages is to right click them and hit delete and if that doesnt work open and new doc then highlight it by hand and past it into the new document.

Try saving it as a text file and see if that makes it smaller. Just save it with ".txt" at the end. It's been ages since I used WordPerfect, but you should be able to go to the end of your blank pages and just backspace until they disappear.

Try going down to the bottom of the last page, which has text and hitting delete.
That usually will get rid of any blank pages.

I shortened my resume by dropping employers more than ten years old. Did not list references, but stated references provided upon request. If all your jobs basically were the same type of work you may want to list your jobs, dates and supervisor and phone numbers, then put one description for them all.
To delete the extra pages go to the end of your typed document. Press the shift key and the down arrow key to block then hit delete that should take care of it. If not press Control F3, which will show you all the hidden commands in your document.
